Rhyl Reserves climbed up to fourth place in the Reserves League following their win at Llandudno last night.
Russell Courtney put John Wright's team in the lead after 20 minutes but the home side put the scores level on the half hour.
Ballard got Rhyl's second on the hour and Courtney sealed the win a minute before time. 
It was the first win in five games for the youngster and they will be sure to have gained a massive confidence boost.
Their next match is on Wednesday when the travel to Flint for a Presidents Cup match - kick off at 7pm.
